Kayseri represents a complete passage of civilizations with mosques such as Camikebir, Hunat, Lala, Han, Kurşunlu, historical grand bazaar, madrasahs, cupolas, Museum of Medical History, Roman Castle and as such. Churches and temples in Kayseri and in Talas are still standing as the signs of multi-cultural social and cultural structure of the city. In addition to them, several projects like Historical Kayseri Street, Citadel Tourism Center, Cultural Road Project, Anatolian Wonderland and several thematic museums has been implemented by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality.

Cappadocia, meaning 'the region of beautiful horses' in ancient grek is the name of the land that has been ruled by different powers like Assyrians, the Hittites, Firiks, Kingdom of Cappadocia, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman since BC 3000. This region is one of the real wonders of the world and one of the best examples of civilization and the integration of the differences. Fairy Chimneys and geolagical structure of Cappadocia which is unique in the world have formed as a result of eruption of Erciyes volcano about 30 million years ago. So probably it willnot be wrong to call Erciyes as 'the father of Cappadocia'. While the geographic events were giving shape to the fairy chimneys, people who lived in that area in the historical process carved homes and churches inside these chimneys. They have created their own particular field of life and decorated them with frescoes those which contains several famous towns like Urgup, Goreme, Uchisar, Avanos, Zelve and Derinkuyu. Every year more than 2 million tourist are visiting these places from all over the world.

After a whole day skiing you can decide to come to city center in just 20 minutes and enjoy shopping in Grand Bazaar or in modern shopping malls or from outlet centers, Kayseri in  Grand Bazaar or in modern shopping malls or from outlet centers. Kayseri Grand Bazaar is the second biggest one after Istanbul's which was built in Ottoman Empire period.
